FLL will use the data provided to either:
- Update records of your membership or booking if these were initially taken out with Aura Leisure and Libraries Limited
- Ensure that FLL are able to make contact with you regarding ongoing memberships, bookings or events.
- Pass your details to the relevant team in FLL if your enquiry is regarding a new membership, booking or event query
The data on this form will be added to the relevant records within FLL and retained subject to their retention period. This form will be deleted as soon as that has happened and will be kept for no longer than 6 months from the date of submission to FLL. The data regarding your membership, booking or event will be processed on the basis of contract.

This Privacy Notice tells you what to expect when Flintshire Libraries and Leisure processes your personal data for
Leisure and Libraries services.
The data we collect about you
Flintshire Libraries and Leisure will collect various categories of personal information, depending on the services
you are accessing. When deciding what personal information to collect, use and hold, Flintshire Libraries and Leisure
are committed to making sure that we will:
- Only collect, store, and use personal information where it is necessary and fair to do so;
- Keep your personal information secure and safe;
- Securely dispose of any personal information when it is no longer needed;
- Be transparent with you about how we use your information and who we share it with; and
- Flintshire Libraries and Leisure will only use your personal information in accordance with this privacy notice.
How we use your personal data
We collect information about you to ensure we provide you with safe and enjoyable
leisure and library services, to effectively manage our customer accounts, and if you agree, to contact you about
other products and services we offer that we think may be of interest to you.
For library services, your personal data will be processed as part of our public task under 1964 Public Libraries Act
to provide library services.
For leisure services, your personal data will be processed for the performance of a contract between us.
Do you share my personal information
When you register with our library services your personal information is kept securely on a shared library management
system which stores borrower records on a database. This is a partnership between Welsh Library authorities. Our
services work together to share costs and offer enhanced services to customers. Flintshire Libraries and Leisure will
not share your personal information to any other third party, except where required by law.
How long do you keep my personal information?
Flintshire Libraries and Leisure will retain your information for 6 years from the date of collection, unless the
information relates to Health and Safety records for children under the age of 18. In this circumstance, your
information will be retained for 3 years after the child turns 18.
Communication preferences
Customers who opt-in and agree to receive marketing information about events or services we offer will be the first
to know about:
- New services, classes and activities
- Available spaces in popular sessions
- Payment dates for courses
- Special offers and discounts
