Council Tax Exemption for Properties Needing Major Repairs
What are the purposes of processing your personal information and who processes it?
Your data will be processed by Flintshire County Council as part of our public task for the specific purposes of considering a council tax exemption for properties needing major repairs under the Council Tax (Exempt Dwellings) Order 1992 and the Council Tax (Amendments Relating to Discount Disregards and Exempt Dwellings) (Wales) Regulations 2022.

How is the information used?
The information you give in this form, and any supporting evidence you provide will be used to assess whether your property is entitled to a Class A exemption for properties requiring/undergoing major repair/structural alteration.

We may share your information with other Council services in order to ensure our records are accurate and up-to-date, to improve the standard of the services we deliver, and to perform any of our statutory duties, including enforcement duties.

We will keep your data for the duration you are liable to pay Council Tax and for a period of 7 years after your liability to pay Council Tax has ended.
