Request a Refund of a Credit on your Rent Account
What are the purposes of processing your personal information and who processes it?
Flintshire County Council are collecting this information as part of our public task for the specific purposes of providing you with a refund from your rent account under Renting Homes Wales Act 2016.
What type of information is collected?
- Details about you, such as your name, address and bank details
- Tenancy reference number
- Telephone number and email address
Who we may share your information with?
We may share your information with other Council services in order to ensure our records are accurate and up-to-date, to improve the standard of the services we deliver, and to perform any of our statutory duties.
Flintshire County Council may check information you have provided, or information about you that someone else has provided, with other information we hold. We may also get information about you from certain third parties, or give information to them to:
- make sure the information is accurate
- prevent or detect crime
- protect public funds.
How long do we keep your records?
We will keep your data for the duration you are liable to pay Rent and for a period of 7 years after your liability to pay Rent has ended.
